The Sport of Making Art

I’ve never been content to sit on the sidelines. Photography, for me, is a sport. It’s about chasing the shot, feeling the burn in your legs as you climb higher, or battling the elements to capture nature’s wild beauty. I’m drawn to big, bold moments—the athlete at the edge of their limits, the chaos and unpredictability of the ocean and those special moments when people and nature align in a way that feels like magic.

Photography is both a creative and physical challenge for me, a way to push myself to be better than the last time, to climb higher, to see farther, to capture what others didn't see. From the beaches to the mountains, I find meaning in the places where strength, skill, and nature intersect, where art is made from the raw and the real.

I strive to find those rare moments when the world aligns, when the power of human achievement meets the beauty of the earth—that’s when I’m reminded why I do what I do.
